Crafted by hand in Indonesia by our talented artisans. Sterling Silver and gold creole hoops come with sturdy hinge closures. The design itself displays a beautiful symmetrical pattern with oxidised silver and Jawan work alongside larger polished gold circles which spread along the curvature of the earrings.

Both the dot work and circular design are inspired by the geometric mandala patterns found in Hinduism and Buddhism, with Mandala translating as ‘circle’.

The name Mandalay comes from the city of Mandalay, central Myanmar, where ornate and intricately crafted royal palaces and spiritual temples create breathtaking silhouettes amongst the trees and gardens of the city.
